PIFA 2014 Festival
From our Vice President Joseph Taumua.

Whhhheeeewww! It is doooone! For those who dont know PIFA San Diego is really not over for the PIFA board, members and volunteers til Monday. What that means....Cleaning the beach for inspection....trash pick-up, power washing the food booth area, breaking down the command post, to loading it on to the UHAUL and then loading it to our storage. But I will say...it was all worth it knowing that we (...Pacific Islanders) have a home away from home to enjoy the songs and dances of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia!

The Pacific Islander Festival Association of San Diego celebrated 20 years of "Legacy" to celebrate the path that was left open from our ancestors for us to pass on to our generations to come. Whether it be through songs, dances, education and resources...we are visible and exposed to our communities to enjoy!
Sundays worship service with Pastor Faafouina V Solomona, the FSCCCSD and JC Squad made me realize Gods work lives within us and through us to do what we do for ourselves and through others to glorify our God! I am very THANKFUL and appreciative to my God for being with PIFA every step of the way! Lets forget about the politics, the antics, the agendas and remember why PIFA San Diego exists?!?! Its a platform for our PI communities to come together and unite and expose the richness and pride we have for our pacific islands!
PIFA is thankful to all the communities that came together and share this wonderful and memorable experience!
